About the Author

A proud member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators Michael earned a diploma at Sheridan College as an Interpretive Illustrator and has illustrated for magazines, advertising agencies, storyboards and websites for well over 12 years.
Armed with a combination of his drawing ability and an imagination fuelled by years of reading science fiction / fantasy and juvenile fiction, Michael's aim is to produce a series of picture books aimed at children and young adults

Lisa Poeltl is a theatre major, who has written, performed and directed several plays throughout southern Ontario, Canada. To her credits, she worked closely with the Hamilton Fringe in it's infancy - making it one of Canada's premier fringe events.

West of Noreaso is but the first book in what Michael and Lisa hope will spawn a series featuring the children and the land West of Noreaso. They are currently working on the second book of the series.
